About Charm City Flag Football League
Charm City Girls Flag Football is an all-girls flag football league based in Baltimore County, Maryland, dedicated to creating new opportunities for girls through the growing game of flag football.
Launching in Spring 2027, our league welcomes girls ages 6 through high school and provides a place for athletes to compete, develop their skills, build confidence, and grow their love for the game.
Whether a player is picking up a football for the first time or already has experience on the field, there is a place for her at Charm City Girls Flag Football. We welcome beginner, intermediate, and advanced players and are committed to creating a fun, competitive, and positive learning environment.
Our goal goes beyond playing games. We want to help grow girls flag football throughout the Baltimore area while giving young athletes an opportunity to learn, compete, build friendships, develop as teammates, and be part of the future of the sport.

League Information
League Format
Three Divisions. One League.
Charm City Girls Flag Football will feature Elementary, Middle School, and High School divisions.
Elementary divisions will compete in a 5v5 format using NFL FLAG rules, while Middle School and High School divisions will compete 7v7 under NFHS rules.
The league will run for seven weeks, with games played on Saturdays or Sundays, followed by playoffs and a league championship.
Individual player registration includes a league shirt and flag belt. Registered teams may compete in their own team jerseys and flags.

End-of Year Banquet
Celebrating Our Players & Coaches
We’ll close out the season with the Charm City Girls Flag Football End-of-Year Awards Banquet. This special event will celebrate our players, coaches, league champions, and season accomplishments. Awards will include All-Conference honors, Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, and additional league recognition. The banquet location and event details will be announced during the season.

When does the 2027 season begin?
The Spring 2027 season is scheduled to begin April 17, 2027, with the season running through late May/early June, including playoffs and championship games.
Where will games be played?
The official location for the Spring 2027 season is currently Garrison Forest School. (Location is subject to change.) Final field locations and game-day information will be announced before the start of the season.
When can I register my daughter?
Early registration opens in October 2026 and runs through January 5, 2027. We encourage families to register early to secure a spot for the upcoming season.
Will my daughter receive a jersey?
Yes. Players who register individually will receive a league jersey and flag belt as part of their registration. Registered teams may wear their own team uniforms and flags.
How are individual players placed on teams?
Players who register individually will participate in our player placement process. Coaches will select players through a league draft, allowing us to create teams for the upcoming season.
When will teams practice?
Practice schedules will be determined by each team's coach. Coaches may schedule practices during the week based on team availability and the game schedule.
Does my daughter need flag football experience?
No. Charm City Girls Flag Football welcomes beginner, intermediate, and advanced players. Our goal is to provide an environment where girls can learn the game, improve their skills, compete, and have fun.
Can parents volunteer to coach?
Yes! We encourage parents interested in helping grow girls flag football to apply to coach. Coaches will be required to complete league training and a background check and participate in league meetings throughout the season.
